Professor Andros GREGORIOU [carbon trading and finance, EU ETS]

Andros is a Professor in Finance at the University of East Anglia. He is an internationally recognized expert in the field of carbon finance and carbon trading. He has published over forty research articles in international journals in the fields of economics, finance and management. His current research is focused on the microstructure of the EU Emission Trading Scheme. He is a Senior Academic Advisor for the Carbon Disclosure Project and the British Chamber of Commerce. His research is funded on a regular basis by the British Academy and the London Stock Exchange. Andros holds visiting appointments at the Financial Markets Group (London School of Economics) and at Cardiff Business School.

Ilham ASADOV [engineering, technical aspects of carbon management] 

At DNV Energy, the world’s largest carbon offset verifier, Ilham was providing engineering solutions for carbon management as a senior consultant. With a background in mechanical engineering and maintenance for aviation and oil & gas industries he specializes in technical aspects of carbon management. Previous experience includes Azerbaijan Airlines as an Aircraft and Engines Maintenance Mechanical Engineer; British Petroleum as Maintenance and Integrity Engineer responsible for the Management of Computerised Maintenance system, Performance management (KPIs), training and coaching

Konstantinos CHALVATZIS [energy security and international carbon policy]

With a degree in energy engineering and expertise in environmental policy and management, Konstantinos focuses on energy security optimisation. He consults businesses on energy supply, carbon efficiency performance and cost. He brings experience as a project manager and negotiations administrator for industrial sectors in Balkans, Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Northern Africa. Currently he is a doctoral researcher at the top ranked School of Environmental Sciences of the University of East Anglia, UK with a focus on the dynamics of climate change and energy security. 

Nadeem MALIK [audit and regulation compliance, staff behavioral change] 

With 12 years top 4 consultancy experience with KPMG Nadeem is an experienced NLP trainer, NLP business coach, qualified tax advisor and facilitator. He is a Qualified Chartered Tax advisor and Enterprise Risk and IT Project Management consultant.

Richard WILSON [environmental management, energy use and adaptation to climate change]

Richard is Norwich City Council’s Environmental Advisor, responsible for the city’s environmental management, energy use and adaption to climate change. He has previously worked for a number of national and international clients including the Ministry of Defence and Cambridge University. He is an MSc graduate from the University of East Anglia.
